Elastomeric waterstop for concrete construction and movement joints, supplied in NR, CR and EPDM to ASTM and BS specifications.
A rubber waterstop is the primary sealing element embedded across concrete construction, expansion and settlement joints. It blocks water migration through the joint by combining the elastic recovery of the rubber body with a mechanical interlock formed by ribs and anchor flanges bonded into the surrounding concrete.
Installed along the joint centreline, the central bulb and side ribs absorb joint movement while staying in tight contact with the concrete. Because the rubber returns to its original shape after each movement cycle, the watertight barrier survives repeated opening and closing of the joint instead of cracking like rigid sealing.
