Deoxidised copper waterstop for dams, spillways and hydraulic structures, where service life exceeds 80 years.
Copper waterstop is the traditional sealing element for mass concrete hydraulic structures. Its ductility allows it to follow large joint movements without fatigue failure, and it resists the chemical and biological attack that degrades polymer waterstops over decades.
The copper sheet is formed into a W or F profile with a central loop that accommodates joint opening and shear. Sealing is achieved by embedding the flanges deep into the concrete and by brazed site joints that make the installation continuous along the entire joint.
