Synchronous hydraulic jacking of bridge spans for bearing replacement, deck re-levelling and structural retrofitting under live traffic management.
Spans are lifted using a synchronised multi-point hydraulic jacking system with displacement and load monitoring, allowing bearings to be replaced, the deck to be re-levelled, or additional structural elements to be installed without dismantling the superstructure.
Multiple jacks are controlled to a common displacement reference so that load is transferred uniformly and the deck is not twisted. Each lift increment is monitored against the calculated load path, and temporary supports carry the load before any personnel work beneath the span.
