Extruded PVC waterstop for concrete joints in water retaining and excluding structures, with heat-weldable on-site joints.
PVC waterstop is a thermoplastic sealing profile embedded in concrete joints of reservoirs, tunnels, foundations and swimming pools. Joints are made by heat welding, giving a homogeneous, monolithic seal along the full joint length.
The profile relies on mechanical anchorage through ribs and bulbs bonded into the concrete. Because PVC is thermoplastic, intersections and directional changes are welded rather than glued, so the joint is as strong as the parent material and does not depend on site workmanship with adhesives.
