Heavy-duty fork extensions that slide over existing forks to handle long or oversized loads, with heel-pin retention for safety.
Fork extensions are open-ended steel sleeves that increase the usable fork length for handling long material such as pipe, timber, steel sections and precast units. They are supplied with locking heel pins or spring clips to prevent the sleeve sliding off during use.
The sleeve transfers the load to the fork as a cantilever, so the rated capacity decreases with extension length. Correct selection must apply the manufacturer load chart based on the load centre distance, otherwise the combined fork and extension assembly can be overloaded at the heel.
